KASHMIR HOUSING

After a visit to Srinager, Kashmir in Northern India, we found an astounding need for housing for families in dire need.

Living conditions in Kashmir, known for it’s long and harsh winters, are often very tough with families living in cramped huts with thin plastic sheeted walls. Toilets and showering facilities are non existent with families using grounds outside. The Beta Charitable Trust built 5 houses last year. Photos below show the incredible before and after photos of houses that have been built.

We have been requested to build housing for another four more deserving families living in these dreadful conditions. The winters are harsh with rain and snow.
