A historically severe drought, COVID still ravaging the country, and now the threat of violence around the country causing mass displacement, has lead to a humanitarian crisis. Without your help, we can only provide short term relief.
Our team on the ground is providing emergency relief to thousands of internally displaced refugees that are trying to escape the advancing terror. With your donations we can reach more people desperately in need.
Blanket appeal
The ongoing threat of malnutrition is further compounded as Afghanistan prepares for yet another bleak and bitter winter. We will be trying to offer some semblance of warmth with the supply of warm blankets to the poor and destitute so they can survive the life-threatening winter.
Winters in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kargil (India), and Yemen are usually brutal and can kill the most vulnerable, both young and old. We are supporting the distribution of 14,000 blankets in these four countries. Let us help ward off the bitter cold by sponsoring a warm blanket for less than £20 each.
