Enhancing environmental sustainability through planting of trees

The global rate of deforestation is alarmingly high. It is estimated that the world uses 25% more forest resource than can be sustained each year.

Forests are quickly being cleared by human activities such as settlement, timber harvest and energy production.

It is time we all do our part to “Save our Planet!”

BCT are delighted to be working with our partners CHEPS, in preserving the environment and reversing the effects of deforestation  by planting trees . We aim to plant 5,000 trees this year, in rural parts of Kenya with emphasis in arid and semi arid areas. In addition to the environmental effects, the species of tree planted will also have health, medicinal and nutritional benefits.
