Earning a regular livelihood is an essential aspect of survival.  One of the core values at Beta Charitable Trust is economical up-liftment; offering opportunities for those less fortunate to earn their own form of income, providing them with the means to build their own future.  An area particularly close to BCT’s heart is supporting those widows with children who have no other source of revenue to make their ends meet on a daily basis.

With your support, Beta Charitable Trust has donated 47 sewing machines to widows with large families in parts of Sindh, Pakistan. The Sewing Machines empower the widows to start their own businesses, so that they have a sustainable reliable and consistent form of income to support their own families independently.
"Micro-finance stands as one of the most promising and cost-effective tools in the fight against global poverty."
