The Chole Dispensary is a small and well-organised primary health care facility on the Chole Island in Tanzania.

There is no other viable alternative for medical care for the Choleans, as the nearest hospital for the inhabitants is on Mafia Island, a two-hour trip away.

The Beta Charitable Trust has donated funds towards the need of medical supplies, ongoing training, maintenance of building, public health awareness campaigns (HIV/AIDs, Malaria, Nutrition etc) and towards the free under five clinics.
