The BCT sponsored a 2-day free eye camp at the Medewell Hospital (Kibaha, Dar-Es-Salaam), between 8th-9th August 2009. The camp was conducted by 4 opticians and 1 assistant. 700 pairs of glasses and 450 units of medicines were distributed, and 18 cataract surgeries were undertaken. |
