| Sachek Medical Clinic Helps Record Amount Of People |
|
The Sachek medical clinic keeps Beta Charitable Trust updated with all the work they carry out and each time we receive a report we are more and more impressed with the work that they do. The clinic has always been about helping people. The process is simple: if a patient has a condition they need advice on, or they have an illness that needs serious attention, then the Sachek medical clinic provides a free service to help alleviate the patients medical problems regardless of their ethnicity or religious background. This is one of the very few clinics in the area that practices a non discriminatory policy Below is a chart that shows some of the medical problems encountered and the number of people treated. In their most recent two month report, Sachek has seen and treated 463 patients, each one needing a different method of treatment and care. The age range of each patient varies between new born babies to 60 years of age. The clinic has and continues to help people from all walks of life. The patients know the clinic and put their trust within the team to help them with their problems. The luxury of professional doctors and up to date procedures is not available to us all. Whilst we may forget how lucky we are we must not forget the ones who are not as lucky as us. Health care, education and readily available resources are still urgently in demand in many developing countries. All ages should have access to education on the importance of maintaining their health and be shown the appropriate places to get advice if they are unsure. Below is a graph that shows the age range of patients and the numbers that visited the clinic. As is evident, the number of patients below ten years old is considerably higher than other ages. Educating parents and young adults on the importance of health care could dramatically reduce the numbers you see above. One thing is for sure, the Sachek clinic is doing its job. It is saving lives and putting minds at rest with its constant open door policy and friendly caring staff. You can donate to the Sachek cause by clicking here. |
