| Aeinullah Eye Clinic Helps Over 160 Patients In Patna |
|
The Aeinullah eye clinics are set up to combat vision loss and impairment for all those who need it. The clinics are set up from region to region by using already existing health centres and merging an eye clinic within it. An Aeinullah eye clinic was set up in Patna to try and alleviate any eye ailments the poorer citizens of the city were suffering with. Patna in itself is a wonderful stretch of land, shrouded in a history that all its residents are proud to regale. Patna is the capital of the Indian state Bihar and is the second largest city in Eastern India. The capital is seeped in history; the land is famous for being one of the oldest, continuously inhabited areas in the world with an established and regimented trade and distribution route from its main factories and ports. The eye clinic that was established here has had great success in past years and the same success has been achieved in 2011. In total 163 patients were screened for cataracts on behalf of Beta Charitable Trust. Those who could be operated on were; those that needed a boost of vitamins or medicine to avoid surgery received the necessary treatment to help keep them healthy. Things are looking good; out of the 163 patients that were screened, only 9 needed immediate cataract surgery which they received and have now fully recovered from. Early screening is key. The more patients that are screened early and given medication, the less likely the need for surgery. The Aeinullah eye clinic will continue to help people through any eye condition they may be suffering with. They can only continue with the help of donations which we have been receiving for the clinic all year round. For this we thank you and so do the citizens of Patna who can now continue to enjoy the beauty their city is draped in and continue to keep the spirit of the city alive.
