Donors help support a Medical clinic in Sarepol, Northern Afghanistan

Sarepole province is situated in the North of Afghanistan and bordering Jawzjan Province, it is a mountainous and the whole area holds around 140,000 people. This is another shockingly destitute area, still trying to develop after years of war and has no dependable medical services.

The need for a medical clinic was more than apparent and what with the success of the medical clinic in Sachek, it was clear what had to be done. The building, the plan and the motivation of the Sachek clinic was duplicated and work started on building a new clinic right in the heart of Sarepole. The funds raised (not just BCT's funds) will pay for the following:

  • Managing Director
  • Registered Nurse
  • midwife
  • Pharmacist/Administrator
  • Cleaner/Guard
  • Medication
  • Clinic Supplies
  • Utilities
  • Diesel and Heating
Donations will go to the above list and so they should. I look at the list above and see normality. I see the above people, products and services day in day out and i hardly look twice, it's that normal. The idea that there are still parts of the world developing, to the point where they haven't got medical centres makes me want to do more, give more, appreciate more. Thank you for all your donations.
