Many more were given minor eye drop medication to prevent the above and more, three patients from the above cataract number have already been operated on with excellent results. One used to be a mechanic before cataracts blinded him, he was so happy to be able to go back to work to help feed his family. Another was a butcher who had to outsource the slaughter of his animals as he couldn't see anymore, now he has his sight back, he can save crucial money for his butchers. The third was jobless due to his eye sight, now with this second chance, he vows to look and work harder than ever before, to hopefully one day give back to the community. |
