• Beta Charitable Trust has contributed towards the Karbala Eye Clinic
• The objective is to provide basic Eye Treatment in the Karbala governorate, in Iraq.
• The population in the governorate mounts to around 700,000.
• As in most parts of Iraq, the need for specialised eye treatment centres is very critical.

It is estimated that around 80% of the patients suffering from impeded eye sight can be treated by simple measures such as eye glasses or cataract operations.
