BCT has sponsored the digging of 6 wells in Kiparang’anda village.

The Mkuranga District has 101 villages including the Kiparang’anda village. Kiparang’anda village has total of 948 households with total population of 4,321 villagers.

This village has faced water problems for a very long time, during which time they were using locally and unsafe water for human use and some time walk for 1-2 kilometres to fetch a single bucket of water for domestic use.

The 6 wells in the Kiparang’anda village are located as follows:

Msasa Area - 2 wells

Kikungo – 2 wells

Zalala - 2 wells

The number of people served by these wells = 3051.
