|
Thanks to our team of volunteers on the ground we have managed to reach out and help so many people who thought the world had forgotten about them. Our donors have not forgotten. We have not forgotten. Click here to remember.
813 families were given food parcels over the last week by our experienced ground team. If you imagine each family has four people, that is a total number 3,252 individuals who have benefitted from this. Apart from the families that were helped a further 704 individual students were given vital aid whilst the team were there. The team of volunteers left the comfort of their homes to help others in need. When they left they were equipped with:
First the food is sorted into individual parcels for the masses that need, then it is loaded onto a lorry for distribution Our team watch anxiously after working so hard to load the lorry. As soon as the lorry reaches it's destination it is time to unload
It may not look appetising but in here are vital nutrients and protein So much happens from the moment you click the donate button. All the steps you see above are but a glimpse of all the hard work and effort that comes from your donation. For three long years the rains have failed in Africa, creating dried up wastelands that can no longer absorb water, it simply evaporates. Approximately 5 million Kenyans have been affected by this absurd test of mans spirit and determination. So far refugee camps have been the main focus of major charities. Beta Charitable Trust is also focusing on those too weak to make the periless journey to the refugee camps. |
