A massive £1,750 was raised by Mohamed Kanji during this years London Marathon. Mohamed completed in a respectable 4 hours 25 minutes and 9 seconds, the money he raised will go to the Water Wells project, which you can find more information on in the Humanitarian section of our website.

A shallow well will cost £900.....a deep well will cost £1200, depending on how mountainous the region that needs a well, will depend on which they receive. Mohamed took just over 4 hours out of his life and pushed his body to the limit so that one of the most deprived areas could drink clean water. Mohamed has now put the run behind him (hopefully looking forward to the next) but the water well he provided still provides a flow of life through to a needy village. One action, one man, saved a village.
