BCT supported, by donating £1,000, the Herts Career Service workshop programme in East Africa during the summer 2007.

HCS Ltd has been training staff for the Qualification in Careers Guidance (QCG) Part 2 and NVQ in Careers Guidance levels 2, 3 and 4 for many years.

With the work it has been doing with careers teachers in East Africa in the last 4 years, there were requests for the NVQ 3 and 4 in Advice & Guidance, so that local Careers Advisers (CA) could provide information, advice and guidance to students.  In addition to this they would be able to support careers teachers in the delivery of careers education and guidance (CEG) programmes in schools in the 3 countries.
