The Teachers’ Training College started its classes since July 1997.

It provides Teachers' Training Course for DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION in all Arts Subjects as per the laid down curriculum by the Ministry of Education in Tanzania.

The subjects offered are: Teaching methods in History, Geography, English, Kiswahili, and Mathematics.

The Education subjects offered are: Education Psychology, Methodology,

Duration of the Diploma course is TWO years. The Academic Year starts in July of each year.

AWARD

After the successful completion of two years, the students sit in the Final National Exams prepared by the "National Examination Council of Tanzania" and awarded by the same.
